Students who are fully prepared to take this course have:
- earned at least a "C" in Cmpsc 101 (or an equivalent course)
- experience programming in a modern high-level language (like C++)
- taken IST 230 and IST 240
- learned how to work collaboratively with colleagues
- learned how to develop pseudocode algorithms
- learned good structured programming techniques
- an understanding of at least one data structure (preferably
one-dimensional arrays)
